Cynthe Hughes
Cynthe (pronounced Cyn-thee) grew up in Pennsylvania and Southern California and has lived in Houston, TX for 32 years. She began acting in middle school, participated in theater and drama classes and productions in high school, and subsequently studied under Karen Douglas at the Actor’s Workshop in Houston. She worked as an extra in Murder She Wrote, Sliders, and Boston Public. After working in public relations and retail and as a volunteer for the Junior League of Houston, the Houston Ballet, and the Houston Zoo, and raising her children, she has returned to pursue her passion for acting with the Joanna Sanchez Workshop in Houston. Cynthe first met Joanna 5 years ago when her son Patrick was introduced to Joanna. For years Cynthe accompanied her son to acting classes, auditions, and on set during filming. Cynthe graduated from Boston University and played violin with the Greenville, PA and Brookline, MA symphonies. She has been married to Brian for 33 years and has 3 children, Alexandra, Blake, and Patrick, as well as 4 cats and a dog, Wellington. Cynthe is very excited to resume her earlier life and to pursue an acting career.
